The Journey
From first conversation to completion.
Six stages, each one managed by us. You will always know where your case stands.
Flow
How a case moves through our desk.
Each stage hands off to the next. Nothing sits waiting without someone chasing it.
- 01
Understand
Understand your circumstances, plans and objectives.
- We talk through your circumstances, your plans and the timing that matters to you.
- Nothing is recommended at this stage. The purpose is simply to understand your position properly.
- 02
Assess
Review your position and mortgage requirements.
- We review income, employment, credit commitments and deposit, and give you a realistic view of what may be possible.
- Where documents will be needed, we tell you early so nothing holds the case up later.
- 03
Recommend
Identify suitable mortgage and protection options.
- We identify suitable mortgage options and, where relevant, protection to sit alongside them.
- You receive the reasoning, the total cost and the alternatives that were considered.
- 04
Apply
Manage the mortgage application process.
- We prepare and submit the application, including any supporting explanation an underwriter may need.
- We handle lender queries directly rather than passing them back to you.
- 05
Progress
Help manage the journey and keep you informed.
- We chase valuations, respond to underwriting and coordinate with solicitors and estate agents.
- You are kept informed at each stage, including when there is nothing to report.
- 06
Complete
Support you through to completion.
- We see the case through to completion and confirm what happens next.
- We remain available afterwards, and we will prompt a review when your deal approaches its end.
Timescales depend on the lender, the property and the legal work involved, so we avoid promising a fixed period.
Let's make your next move a little easier.
Whether you're buying your first home, moving, remortgaging or planning for what's next, our advisers are here to help.
